Delphine Bronesky (PhD student, Université de Strasbourg, Architecture de l'ARN et réactivité, IBMC, under the supervision of P. Romby and I. Caldelari) has recently joined the lab ! She will start a new project in the group, that consists in turning on the expression of toxin-antitoxin...

The D-Lab is just back from the traditional  3-days Lab retreat in the Pyrénées ! A great occasion to get to know about the last and most exciting research going on in each of the teams composing this astonishing Unit ! .. and, of course, have some fun !  ...

Our lastest paper is now published online in Nucleic Acids Research ! Figure 8   Please visit NAR Advance Access A new toxin antitoxin system was discovered in the human gastric pathogen Helicobacter pylori. This new TA system is actually conserved in many epsilon proteobacteria. It shares striking similarities with other TA previously described in Escherichia coli like hok/sok and ldr/rdl TA systems.

Sara Masachis Gelo (recruited in the EU Research-Training Network MetaRNA) recently joined the D-lab to start her PhD. She will engeneer RNA-based expression systems to monitor metabolic changes in living cells. Please find more infos about Sara: https://metarna.wordpress.com/2016/01/09/meet-the-fellows/   ...
